Yeşil Holding Chairman Engin Yeşil introduced the new initiative, Wowwo, in the used car sector.

At a press conference held yesterday at Zorlu PSM, Yeşil, Chairman of Yeşil Holding—which comprises publicly traded and private companies in construction, energy, telecommunications, and production based in Turkey and America—shared details about the company’s recent steps in the automotive sector and its latest initiative, Wowwo.

Pointing out that Wowwo addresses a very significant need in the automotive sector in Turkey, Yeşil said, "Wowwo has developed a system that eliminates problems such as low bank credit scores and the need for a guarantor for those who want to own a vehicle or upgrade their vehicle model, thereby making it easier for our citizens to access used cars. By offering used cars with flexible payment conditions—without a guarantor, without bank loans, and with the option of payment by promissory note—we have set a precedent in the sector. By establishing Wowwo, we have made a large-scale investment in the Turkish automotive sector. I am proud of our contribution to the national economy through this investment, especially at a time when I have observed that investments in Turkey are increasingly being directed abroad. Wowwo, which operates mega showrooms in Kartal, Topkapı, Basın Ekspres, İstoç, and Tuzla in Istanbul, as well as in Ankara, İzmir, Antalya, and Bursa outside Istanbul, and with over 2,000 member galleries across 51 provinces, is a giant system offering over 14,000 vehicles to our citizens.

Wowwo, which is the first and only system of its kind in Turkey, allows customers to purchase a vehicle from thousands available in the system with flexible payment terms and a 30% down payment over periods of up to 36 months via promissory note.

With a 2018 turnover target of 1.5 billion TL, Wowwo currently achieves an average sale of over 1,500 vehicles per month.

Yeşil Holding Chairman Engin Yeşil expressed the advantages of the system as follows:

• Even if a customer has a low bank credit score, Wowwo approves the application.

• When a customer decides to purchase a vehicle, there is no concern over whether they will be granted a bank loan.

• Bank loans are not blocked, so the customer can obtain a bank loan later if needed.

• A customer wishing to sell or exchange their vehicle six months or a year after purchase can benefit from a discount on the installment difference offered by Wowwo, thereby reducing the principal debt at a lower cost. In contrast, in bank loans, most of the upfront payments are deducted as interest and the principal remains unchanged.

• Additionally, Wowwo offers significant advantages not only in purchasing but also in selling vehicles. When a customer wants to sell their vehicle, they can sell it directly to Wowwo. Used cars in Wowwo’s showrooms are appraised, their market value determined, and then purchased in cash.

• If desired, customers who have purchased a vehicle through Wowwo can exchange their vehicle for any one of the 14,000 vehicles in the system while continuing to make promissory note payments.

• Moreover, Wowwo protects its customers for one year or up to 25,000 km against any technical malfunctions, and offers roadside, assistance, and accommodation support.

• With Wowwo Kasko, those who purchase vehicles from Wowwo can insure their vehicles at up to nearly 50% lower cost with flexible payment options. This advantageous system, offered along with the Wowwo Vehicle Guarantee, ensures that Wowwo customers are protected against all kinds of accidents.

• In addition, customers who have acquired a vehicle through Wowwo can have their installments waived if they refer another person who then benefits from the Wowwo system through the SIL-TAKSIT program.
